The daily deal is a new initiative offered by eBay, whereby for one day only, a particular product is promoted and sold at a massively discounted rate. Every daily deal is from a trusted eBay seller, who is offering a specific item, with free shipping, at a discount of up to 90% off the product's RRP.

The daily deal is refreshed at 8-11am every day, and sometimes multiple different products (not usually more than six or so) are sold simultaneously as daily deals - so there's always a good selection. One thing to note about the daily deal, is that they are enormously popular and sometimes the limited number of the product featured as a daily deal will sell out - ending the deal prematurely.
